Lunamancer - Chicago Premiere On VHS

Films & Anime Event

Join Matt Patterson, the Producer and Co-writer of Lunamancer for FREE (moon-shaped) PANCAKES, and a VHS presentation of the award-winning (Philip K. Dick Fest, Midwest Weirdest) film about one man’s enigmatic quest to find faith in our post-industrial hellscape.

Dr. Issac Blake senses his estranged sister is in trouble and returns to his hometown in Upstate New York. Driven by an unseen force, Issac steals a car, acquires a crowbar, and breaks into her house only to discover she's missing - and no one else noticed it. When he tracks her disappearance to a mysterious local who can draw reality-altering powers from the moon, Issac realizes it will take more than one crowbar to free his sister's soul from the Lunamancer.

This 71-minute film will be projected from an analog pan-and-scan 4x3 VHS tape in glorious standard definition, as God intended.
