Our favorite holiday is upon us: Free Comic Book Day! Every year, on the first Saturday in May, the industry comes together to give away free comics and encourage both curious, first-time comic book readers and seasoned comic book fans to flock to the best place in the comic book community: local comic shops.

This year, some of your favorite local comic shops have banded together to organize a city-wide shop crawl! To kick things off, we're throwing a party hosted by our friends at DMen Tap. Sip a special, cryptid-themed cocktail and groove to the goth stylings of the legendary DJ Scary Lady Sarah.

If you're lucky, you might spot a certain cryptid on the dance floor!
